WHAT IS PARCHMENT? 

Parchment is the exclusive site where current students, alumni, and third party companies can obtain digital copies of official transcripts, immunization record, and other documents. This process is done electronically and it is sent (digitally or physically, as requested) directly to the destination the student/alumnus/company chooses. Please note that you must create an account in order to request the documents (including transcripts).

SENIORS

Students can order their final transcripts through Parchment; once logged into their account, they can place an order to send their final transcript to a chosen destination, and the school will process the request once the final grades are available, allowing students to order even before graduation. 

Key points about ordering final transcripts on Parchment:

• Access: Students need to log in to their Parchment account to place an order. 
• "Hold for grades" option: If final grades aren't posted yet, students can select the "Hold for grades" option to ensure the transcript is sent once all grades are available. 
• School approval: Even after placing an order, the student's school must review and approve the transcript request before it is sent. 

Students applying to Common App schools can submit their final transcripts through Parchment; it is a widely accepted platform for electronically sending official transcripts to colleges, including those utilizing the Common Application. 

Key points to remember:

• Access through your school: You will need to access Parchment through your high school's system to request your transcript be sent. 

• Connecting to the Common App: Once you initiate a transcript request on Parchment, you can select the Common App as the recipient, allowing your transcript to be directly linked to your application.
